Beautifully said. I can so relate to this. My son, who is now 21 had a speech apraxia and really struggled. He did work through the issue and is doing great! I have a grand son who is 10. He has autism and a severe apraxia. His speech is very unintelligible still. People look at him and react poorly...and yes, it’s hard...but he’s loved and so precious! Will his life be different than others? Yes! Many people won’t understand that, but that’s their loss.....Hang in there, “Misunderstood” There are many of us out there who understand! We care!!
